Connect ChatGPT to the Klardaten DATEV MCP server with Developer mode and OAuth.

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and select Apps.

  1. Open Advanced settings, enable Developer mode, then click Create app.

  1. In New App, enter the connection details:
    • Name: Klardaten MCP
    • Server URL: https://api.klardaten.com/mcp
    • Authentication: OAuth
  2. Confirm the custom MCP server warning and click Create.

  1. When ChatGPT opens the Klardaten permission screen, click Sign in with Klardaten MCP and complete the OAuth flow with your Klardaten credentials.

Use the MCP server in ChatGPT

  1. Open a new chat and click the + button in the composer.
  2. Open More and select Klardaten MCP from the Developer mode apps list.
  3. The app is now available for the connected ChatGPT account wherever ChatGPT shows the app selector, including web, desktop, and mobile.
